Personality
There are hundreds of personality tests online that tell you who you are and what you want, and most of them are a crock-of-shit, but this one just seemed so spot on that I want to share it and remember it. Apparently, this is me:
You’re a Seeker. You believe in living life to the fullest. You’re curious and enthusiastic with a bright spirit that is an inspiration to your friends and family. A sensitive soul with an expressive nature, you tend to be quite a romantic at heart. Sometimes you love nothing more than escaping into your very own dreamworld. Spontaneous new experiences can be really inspiring to you and you like exploring your creative side from time to time. Right now, life probably seems quite stressful. You feel like you never get any time for yourself. A healthy relationship really is the bedrock of a happy home, but it also takes a lot of energy and commitment to maintain. Make sure that with all the other distractions, your love life doesn’t end up at the bottom of the list. It’s important to remember to tap into your inner strength and to believe in yourself. Take on new challenges and stay stimulated so you remain enthusiastic and inspired by life. As a Seeker, you get excited by new ideas. You like adventure and original experiences that stimulate and challenge your status quo. Stay inspired with a rich mix of activities, and find time for hobbies that allow you to explore your creative side. Learn to recognize when you need variety in your life, and then incorporate it into your daily plans. There’s no better way to feel centered and balanced than to spend some time out in the fresh air. You understand that a change of scenery can reinvigorate you and remind you of what matters most in the world. Remember, it’s not a luxury but a necessity, so allow yourself that quiet time as often as you can.
Defamation Law
Just a thought. It is every journalists dream to become someone respected and regularly-read and you’re not classed as having “made-it” until you are just that.
But a real journalist writes what they see, reports exactly what happens and endeavors to communicate the truth regardless of their audience.
So maybe a successful journalist isn’t one who is well read, because the larger the audience = the more likely you are to face legal action regardless of the truth.
Maybe writing for an audience of virtually no one is a benefit because you’re less likely to be sued by every Tom, Dick and Beckham. You’ll be writing the same thing, but the person in question just won’t find it!
“There is no hiding place from Defamation law”. Well there is, if no one ever reads your work!
